The Artisan Cajon line from Tango features two sets of three pre-tuned metal micro-coiled strings that provide a crisp snare effect across the playing surface. These strings are hand wound by master Cajon builder José "Pepote" Hernández Diaz. The top of the front plate and resonating body have rounded corners and thumb notches to enhance playing comfort and sound quality. The 7-ply, 9mm thick Baltic Birch body produces a full, punchy tone with clarity and warmth, available with either a Limba or light eucalyptus finish on the front plate. These Cajons are made in Spain.
