The Solea line Artisan Edition cajon in a sophisticated dark olive burst finish is an exceptional instrument. For amplification needs, it features internal passive Piezo pickups with tone and volume control knobs conveniently located on the side panel. With a quarter-inch cable jack, you can easily connect to any amp or PA system (cables are not included).

Moreover, this cajon is equipped with a quarter-inch "link" jack, allowing you to link other Meinl passive pickup instruments through the cajon's system and control their output using the cajon's dials. This feature eliminates the necessity for additional amps or outputs, streamlining your setup.

The Artisan Edition Solea line cajons boast two sets of four pre-tuned custom steel cajon strings that provide a responsive snare effect. These strings are strategically positioned on the playing surface, creating a beautiful snare response. The internal bass reflex system within the cajon enhances the low-end frequencies by lengthening the sound waves, resulting in a deep and resonant bass tone.

Crafted in Spain by master luthier Jose "Pepote" Hernandez Diaz, this cajon features a Baltic birch playing surface with rounded corners and thumb notches for added comfort. The 9-ply, 12mm thick Baltic birch resonating body delivers a full, punchy tone with excellent clarity and warmth.
