When you need extra amplification, simply dial up the volume on your cajon and mix your tone with Meinl Pickup Cajons. These cajons are available from the Snarecraft and Woodcraft Professional lines and are equipped with passive Piezo pickups for both snare and bass tones. Each cajon features volume and tone knobs so you can easily find your perfect mix. With a quarter-inch cable jack, you can send your signal through any amp or PA system (cables not included).

Furthermore, these cajons come equipped with a quarter-inch “link” jack that allows you to connect other Meinl passive pickup instruments through the cajon's system and control their output using the cajon's dials. This eliminates the need for additional amps or outputs, streamlining your setup. Whether you're performing at an outdoor show, a large venue, or an intimate acoustic coffee house set, the Meinl Pickup Cajon is versatile for any setting.

Featuring a striking makah burl wood front plate and a black Baltic birch body, this cajon produces a punchy, warm sound with depth and sensitivity. It is designed with internal fixed custom micro-coiled steel cajon strings that span against the playing surface to create a snare effect that complements the cajon’s natural bass notes. Perfect for finger rolls, deep backbeats, or brush patterns, this cajon measures 11 ¾” W x 19 ¾” H x 12” D.
